VCA exams and VCU exams
In its capacity as a professional examination centre, Het Certificaat can organise and hold a range of VCA and VCU exams. A Basic VCA examination consists of 40 questions and takes 60 minutes. The VOL-VCA and VIL-VCU exam consist of 70 questions each and take 75 minutes each.
Preparing for the VCA exam
We recommend taking a VCA course in order to properly prepare for the VCA exam. If you would like to know more about a particular course then please get in touch with us. Note that you can also take the VCA exam after a course of private study; please go to our webshop for a selection of private study materials. When you turn up to take the exam, please bring your valid ID with you. We look forward to seeing you at one of our examination locations near you!
Digital exam and reading-out exam
The VCA exam is taken digitally. A candidate is given his or her provisional score as soon as he or she has completed the exam.
We also offer the Basic VCA exam as a reading-out exam. This is intended for people who for example have difficulty with reading, with the candidate then hearing the questions read out over the headphones provided. With a reading-out exam, the candidate is given an additional 15 minutes to complete the exam.
